Transmural Biotech is a spin-off of the Hospital Clinic of Barcelona and the University of Barcelona created at the end of 2009 by medical and engineering professionals.
Our expertise focuses on developing innovative medical technologies, based on image analysis and processing, to provide health professionals with additional information that current technologies cannot provide and substantially improve the quality of service they can offer the patient.
In 2019, we received three prestigious awards in the biotech field: we were selected as one of the 20 most innovative medtech companies according to “Technology Innovators”, we were ranked as one of the 50 top digital companies in the world according to “The Silicon Review” and we received the Most Promising Digital Medicine Innovation award from NODE.Health. Before winning these awards, PWC valued the company at 68 million euros.
